2-Zone 1500°C Rotating Split (Alumina) Tube Furnace
This RTF1500 series rotating split tube furnace contains the highest quality components, for perfect results time after time. In its core, Silicon carbide (SiC) wire coils are embedded within durable, Mitsubishi 1500 alumina fiber insulation. The heat produced is precisely controlled by a Japanese Shimaden 40-segment digital controller. All the heat within the tube is contained by a double-walled, steel internal housing. Care to control or monitor your process remotely, right from your PC? It comes with a RS485 digital communications port and USB adapter. You can even save or export your test results.
This furnace is portable, compact, and lightweight. Its split furnace design allows for quick and easy access to the tube. Self-tuning PID control provides optimal thermal processing with minimal overshoot. Other important features include a built-in ammeter and dual voltmeters, which offer easy monitoring and troubleshooting. One of the most important features, multiple atmosphere processes are possible in a single cycle. What’s more, its type S thermocouple ensures the unit’s longevity. Safety features include overheat protection and power failure protection. This and all of our furnaces are CE compliant.

Safety
- Overheat protection shuts down the furnace if temperature is outside of acceptable range (refer to controller's manual) or when the thermocouple is broken or malfunctions.
- Power failure protection resumes furnace operation right after the point of failure when power is reestablished.
