This RTF1200 series rotating split tube furnace is made of topshelf components, to take your application to the next level. It’s got Sweden’s famous Kanthal spiral wire coils. These are embedded in Mitsubishi grade 1500 alumina fiber insulation. All of this is encased in a double-walled, steel internal housing, in order to minimize heat loss to the surface. A Japanese Shimaden 40-segment digital controller offers precise temperature control, within +/- 1°C of your target. The furnace has a built-in RS485 digital communications port and a USB adaptor. This allows for control and monitoring straight from a PC, as well as to save or export test results.


The furnace’s split tube design allows for easy access. It’s portable, compact, and lightweight. Self-tuning PID control allows you to optimize the thermal process going on, with minimal to no overshoot. This furnace is so advanced, multiple atmosphere processes can take place in a single cycle. Built-in ammeter and dual voltmeters offer easy monitoring and troubleshooting, while its type K thermocouple ensures its longevity. Safety features include overheat and power failure protection. This and all of our furnaces come CE compliant.

Safety

  • Overheat protection shuts down the furnace if temperature is outside of acceptable range (refer to controller's manual) or when the thermocouple is broken or malfunctions.
  • Power failure protection resumes furnace operation right after the point of failure when power is reestablished.

Warning! NEVER fill furnace with explosive gases, including Hydrogen, Carbon Monoxide and Methane.
