1400°C 40-Segment Muffle Furnace w/ PC Interface

This CF1400 series muffle furnace comes with top quality internal components, bringing your application up to the next level. It has silicon carbide (SiC) heating elements embedded in Mitsubishi alumina fiber insulation. This is all encased in a double-walled, steel, internal housing which traps the heat inside the chamber. Its Japanese Shimaden 40-segment digital controller is so precise, it’ll get within +/- 1°C of your target temperature.

The furnace comes with a built-in RS485 digital communications port and USB adapter, allowing you to control or monitor your operation straight from your PC. You can even save or export your results. Another important feature, a self-tuning PID control unit optimizes your thermal process with minimal overshoot. It’s type S thermocouple ensures a long life, while a built-in ammeter and dual voltmeters make for easy monitoring and troubleshooting. Safety features include overheat and power failure protection. This and each one of our furnaces arrive CE compliant.

Safety

• Overheat protection shuts down the furnace if temperature is outside of acceptable range (refer to controller's manual) or when the thermocouple is broken or malfunctions.
• Power failure protection resumes furnace operation right after the point of failure when power is reestablished.
