1-Zone 1500°C Rotating Split (Alumina) Tube Furnace
This RTF1500 series split tube furnace is comprised of the highest-quality components, in order to provide perfectly reliable results each time you use it. It features Silicon carbide (SiC) wire coils. These are placed within Mitsubishi 1500 alumina fiber insulation. A Japanese Shimaden 40-segment digital controller offers precise temperature control, while a double-walled steel internal housing minimizes heat loss to the surface. It also has a built-in RS485 digital communications port and a USB adapter. This allows you to connect the furnace to a PC for remote control, monitoring, or to save or print test results.
This tube furnace is compact so it won’t take up a lot of room. It’s lightweight, portable and easy to move and carry, too. Self-tuning PID control will optimize your thermal process and minimize overshoot. The furnace is so intricate, it can perform multiple atmosphere processes in a single cycle. It’s type S thermocouple ensures a long life, while a built-in ammeter and dual voltmeters allow for easy monitoring and troubleshooting. Safety features include overheat and power failure protection. This and all our furnaces, is CE compliant.
Features
- Compact, portable and lightweight design.
- Split furnace chamber for fast and easy tube access.
- Standard package includes set of stainless steel vacuum sealing flanges with valves and pressure meter.
- Microprocessor based self-tuning PID control provides optimum thermal process with minimal overshoot.
- Multiple atmosphere processes in a single cycle are possible (ex: binder burn out in air and parts sintering under rough vacuum or inert gas environment.)
- Built-in ammeter and dual voltmeters for easy monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Built-in computer interface.
- Long life type S thermocouple.
Safety
- Overheat protection shuts down the furnace if temperature is outside of acceptable range (refer to controller's manual) or when the thermocouple is broken or malfunctions.
- Power failure protection resumes furnace operation right after the point of failure when power is reestablished.
Warning! NEVER fill furnace with explosive gases, including Hydrogen, Carbon Monoxide and Methane.
