This STF1200 series split tube furnace is made of the highest quality internal components, ensuring your application’s success time and again. Sweden’s famous Kanthal spiral wire coils grace the interior of this furnace, which are embedded in rugged, Mitsubishi made, grade 1500, alumina fiber insulation. A self-tuning PID control provides precise temperature control, and heat loss is kept to a minimum due to a double-walled, steel, internal housing. With this furnace, you can perform multiple atmosphere processes in just one cycle. The unit is lightweight, portable, and compact--so it won’t take up a lot of room.
A Japanese Shmaden 40-segment digital controller allows for precise control. It has a built-in RS485 digital communications port and USB adaptor. This allows you to hook it up to your PC, which provides remote control and monitoring. You can even save or export your results. Easy monitoring and troubleshooting is provided by a built-in ammeter and dual voltmeters, while its type K thermocouple ensures its longevity. Stainless steel vacuum sealing flanges with valves and pressure meter come standard. It has a couple of safety features including overheat protection and power failure protection. This furnace and all of our others come CE compliant.

Safety
- Overheat protection shuts down the furnace if temperature is outside of acceptable range (refer to controller's manual) or when the thermocouple is broken or malfunctions.
- Power failure protection resumes furnace operation right after the point of failure when power is reestablished.
Warning! NEVER fill furnace with explosive gases, including Hydrogen, Carbon Monoxide and Methane.
